This is a top 5 freehand job favorite of mine. I LOVE ligatures and it came so naturally when I wrote the word "Hard". Now ligatures rule my type.
Freehand done with ink. The dots look like a lot of work but they were meditative. Continuity is key.
This is to honor my introverted self. I have received a lot of complaints about my introvertedness and this is what I say back. This is freehand. In the word "Introverting" I used my utmost favorite pattern: Herringbone. It's so wonderful. That is freehanded as well.
Freehand type done by me with these tools here: ink. Typography is art.
Big bubble letters are so fun. Freehand as well. Playful type.
Freehand lettering. I sketch these out with pencil first then choose which form of ink/marker for the final renditions.
This is one of my favorites. Freehand in pencil then rendered in ink. Breathing is just magical really, being a yogi I find the breath to be the most important part of life. That's what these letters are about. When I create these I try to match the tone of what the words are saying with the style.
I freehanded this type on the actual full moon and just let it flow. I love patterns and incorporating them into typography is especially fun.
Delicate freehanded type. Again, paying attention to the tone as I create the letters. I don't look at anything but my blank page when I create these.
Press through because you cannot go around. Freehand rendered in pen and marker. I love this one because it's somewhat tricky. If you really get into the piece it portrays that once you press through the beauty (the pattern) is on the other side no matter what the outcome is. Hard work pays off.
This is just fun because sometimes days are just kinds lame. So for this freehanded type tuesday got hit with an arrow.
